A Special Session on Aerosols is being organized for this year’s European Colloids and Interface Society (ECIS) Conference, which will be held in Bristol, UK, on 7-12 September 2025. The annual ECIS conference covers all areas of colloid science and is typically attended by >700 scientists from academia and industry from across the globe. The goal of this Special Session is to foster connections across the aerosol science and colloids/interfaces communities.

We welcome any abstract broadly of interest to both the aerosol and colloids communities. Example topical areas include (but are not limited to): aerosol interfacial properties, aerosol rheology and phase, nucleation, particle-light interactions, chemical reactivity in aerosols, interparticle interactions, aerosol formulations and drying, aerosols containing biological matrices, and aerosol modelling.
