New Instrumentation for Particle Number Measurements, from the Frontier of Scientific Research to Continuous Near-Reference Measurements

Focus Meeting 8 – Recent Advances in Aerosol Measurement Technology

Two new Condensation Particle Counters (CPCs) have been introduced. Model 3772-CEN is fully compliant to the new CEN Technical Specification CEN/TS 16976:2016, which enables harmonized monitoring of ultrafine particles (UFPs) in atmospheric aerosol. Modell 3777-72 is designed to count particles as small as 1.1 nm geometric diameter and allows measurement of size distribution when combined with an SMPS system.
