Sarah did her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science at Lancaster University and then went on to do a masters in Atmospheric and Climate Science at ETH Zurich and the Swiss Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research. She started a PhD at the University of Leeds in 2018 where she is researching ice-nucleating particles in the high latitudes. Her work combines fieldwork on board the FAAM Atmospheric Research Aircraft, ground based aerosol measurements and laboratory studies.
