Urban particulate matter monitoring on a mobile platform: a real time experiment on a long term scale

Focus Meeting 1 – Atmospheric Aerosols

An innovative approach to the study of urban pollution dynamics exploiting fast response instrumentations integrated into a metro (monorail) cabin which cover every 20 min. a radial transect of the town of Perugia is proposed. The experiment will last at least one years, providing a huge amount of data, which will be analyzed by a wealth of statistical methodologies.
