Ice crystals roughness has been investigated during R-ICE1 and R-ICE2 using a laminar flow tube and a version of the Small Ice Detector (SID). First results show that fast growth of ice crystals at high humidity lead to complex structures like dendrites and generally display very rough signal. Humidity cycles did not show variations in the roughness.
