Comparative study particulate matter in various environments in the UK and Pakistan

Poor air quality has raised concern in many countries as globally 3 % cardiopulmonary and 5% lung cancer deaths are attributed to particulate pollution. Air quality was investigated at similar environments in UK and Pakistan. Although the 24-hour mean PM2.5 levels exceeded the WHO limits, higher levels of particulate matter were observed in Pakistan as compared to UK.
