Air exchange and aerosol measurements were undertaken in an instrumented terraced house within the city of Bristol. Perfluorocarbon tracers released outside the building were detected inside and outside the property, with higher concentrations on the windward side of the building. Sub-micron aerosol concentrations are elevated throughout the building when cooking in the kitchen. Particulate matter was elevated outside the house during the day, but not noticeably increased inside.
