1-3 nm Aerosol Particles: from Ambient Nucleation Events to Indoor Observations

Sub 3 nm aerosol particles have been detected in high concentrations during nucleation events and in e.g. vehicle exhaust and in the vicinity of other combustion sources. They are also present in indoor air due to secondary aerosol formation or infiltration of outdoor nano particles themselves.
