Non-road machines used on construction sites are the 4th largest source of NOX emissions in London. All machines were tested under real-world in-use operation, on active construction sites in London. The emission factors were measured using laboratory grade portable emission measurement systems. The measured NOX conformity factors for all machines were compared with the respective EU emission standards for non-road engines, to provide an indicative reference.
