The impact of semi-volatile organic components on particle nucleation and cloud droplet activation

The impact of semi-volatile organic components on the growth of freshly nucleated clusters and on the activation of cloud condensation nuclei onto cloud droplets has been investigated using a common equilibrium absorptive partitioning framework incorporating the effects of particle size.
