The frequency distribution of the concentration of ice nucleating particles (IN) found at a certain temperature seems to vary only little with geographical location. We use field data to verify this observation and to investigate the shape of the frequency distribution. We test if the same kind of distribution is applicable to ambient measurements at different temperatures, timescales, sampling volume and locations.
