Chemical characterisation of water-soluble ions in aerosol over the East coast of peninsular Malaysia

Initial measurements of water-soluble ions in aerosol have been made at the new Bachok Atmospheric Research Laboratory on the East coast of peninsular Malaysia. This region is of global importance and can be influenced by local and regional pollution, as well as long-range air masses transported from South East Asia.
