A number of chamber experiments have been carried out to investigate the photochemical degradation of amines relevant to CO2 capture. The formation of potentially toxic nitramines and nitrosamines have been measured using two-dimensional gas chromatography nitrogen chemiluminescence detection (GC×GC-NCD).
